Píšťková, H. Importance of the event for the service providers in the tourism destination Slovácko. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The main goal of this thesis is to identify impacts of event Slovácké slavnosti vína a otevřených památek on service providers in the tourism destination Slovácko and to propose measures leading to support positive and eliminate negative impacts of the event in the tourism destination. First part contains theoretical ba-sis, which are necessary to understand the theme of the bachelor thesis. In the result part can be found topics from the theoretical basis but focused on the spe-cific problematic of the thesis. To reach the goal, the answers from the survey and a deep interview were used. Based on these answers, thesis includes proposals and recommendations for better conditions not only for the service providers, but also for the visitors of the destination.
Vliv počasí na spokojenost návštěvníků na Jižní Moravě

The bachelor thesis investigates the influence of weather on the overall satisfaction of visitors in South Moravia, which is one of the most visited regions in the Czech Republic and contributes significantly to tourism. Destination satisfaction is influenced by endogenous factors, but also by exogenous factors that are completely beyond the control of destination managers. One of these exogenous factors is the weather. A questionnaire survey was conducted to identify its influence on overall visitor satisfaction. The survey was carried out face-to-face in all five tourist areas (Slovácko, Brno and surroundings, Lednice-valtice area, Moravian Karst and Znojmo and Podyjí) in the period from June to September 2022. Around 350 interviews were collected in each of the areas and the total sample amounted to 1913 responses. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of weather on the satisfaction of visitors to the destination South Moravia in the context of demographic profiles. The results of the research showed the greatest influence on women aged 41-55 years who visit South Moravia for holidays, rest and relaxation. The analysis was conducted using Spearman's correlation coefficient to determine the influence.

IVICZEOVÁ, Nina. 2023 Profiles of visitors to the selected destination in the South Moravian. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Business Economics. The bachelor thesis focuses on the profiles of visitors to the destination Brno and its surroundings. The aim of this work is to compile profiles of visitors to the mentioned destination, to implement market segmentation from the demand side and subsequently to define key and prospective target segments that will lead to the sustainability of tourism development in the destination. The initial phase of the work is theoretical, devoted to literary research in the given area. The meth-odology of the work was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey, which subsequently results in the practical part of the work, in which key and prospec-tive segments were defined. These segments were selected in such a way that they meet the suitability for the creation of proposals related to the sustainability of tourism in Brno and its surroundings.

Kacetlová, D. Visitor satisfaction and quality of tourism destination. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of visitor satisfaction and the quality of the tourism destination Znojemsko and Podyjí. The main goal of the thesis is based on the identification of factors influencing the overall satisfaction of visitors to deduce a proposal for recommendations and measures for the destination management of Znojemsko and Podyjí to systematically increase the quality and satisfaction of destination's visitors. The research used a questionnaire survey with visitors directly in the destination, the obtained data were subjected to regression analysis.
The degree of the visitors' satisfaction in the tourist region of Posázaví

The bachelor thesis is focused on the Posázaví region. The main aim was to identify the factors, which affect the satisfaction of visitors in this tourist area. It was also assessed the perception of the quality and quantity of primary and secondary supply of tourism in the chosen region in terms of demand. Based on the information were proposed measures in order to raise the satisfaction of the visitors in Posázaví.
Usage of New Technologies for Development of a Tourism Destination

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with themes of modern technologies usable in tourism, management and development of a tourism destination and geographical information systems. The practical part of the thesis is concerned with a concept of less visited monument from four categories (castle, chateau, monastery, town and town wall) in the area of the South Bohemian region, the Vysočina region and the region Waldviertel in Lower Austria, whose target is increasing the attendance and publicizing the chosen monuments. The target of the diploma thesis is to characterize a manner of usage ICT for the management and development of the tourism destination, to identify opportunities due to situational analysis and to propose application of chosen technology for increasing competitiveness of South Bohemia as a tourism destination. Through the geographical information systems as a chosen technology the usage of maps for the management and development of the tourism destination is shown. The outcome is a proposal of several geographic and thematic products (routes).
Crisis Management in Tourism Destinations

This bachelor thesis analyses an implementation of crisis management in selected tourism destinations, identifies strengths and weaknesses of crisis management in endured crisis situations and proposes a crisis plan for one selected tourism destination. It deals with crisis situations such as natural disasters, technical problems or terrorism. In its theoretical part the bachelor thesis generally describes the setting of crisis management in public administration in the Czech Republic and in Czech tourism destinations. In its practical part the work firstly determine risk categorization of tourism destination Český Krumlov and tourism destination Českobudějovicko-Hlubocko. Next, the work researches the current condition of the crisis management of these destinations. The information about the current condition is obtained through semi-structured interviews with destination representatives, through case studies dealing with endured crisis situations of these destinations and through an observation of their frequently visited places. The work also researches case studies dealing with endured crisis situations in various tourism destinations abroad and in the Czech Republic and compares discovered cognitions from these destinations with discovered cognitions from case studies of selected destinations. Based on the identified deficiencies, the work proposes several steps for improving of the crisis management of these destinations and a crisis plan for one of these destinations.
New Media in Promotion of Destination

Analysis and comparison of use of destination cards in the Czech Republic and abroad

The aim of the Diploma thesis is to show the benefit of destination cards and the potential of a unified system of destination cards in the Czech Republic. The main aim is achieved by analyzing and comparing the offer of use of destination cards abroad and in the Czech Republic. The Diploma thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of tourism, factors influencing the development of tourism and specification of the tourism market. The second chapter is dedicated to tourism marketing, destination marketing and tourism destination characteristics. The third chapter deals with the concept of the destination card and its use. The fourth chapter describes the offer and the system of destination cards abroad, on the example of Great Britain. The fifth chapter describes the system and the total offer of destination cards in the Czech Republic. The selected destination cards and their influence on the behavior of the tourists in the destination will be analyzed. In conclusion, based on the results of the analyzes, the solution of a uniform system for coordination of destination cards in the Czech Republic is proposed.
Analysis of cultural tourism of Porto and its attractiveness for Czech tourists

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the attractiveness of cultural tourism of Portuguese city Porto for Czech tourist. The theoretical part describes the approaches to the definition of cultural tourism, its components, offer and the latest trends. The practical part contains quantitative research conducted to determine the attitudes of Czech tourists to the city of Porto as a tourist destination for cultural tourism. The outcome is the evaluation of research and determination of the status of Porto tourism market.
